Nina gave a little insight into just what a fantastically organised bride Lesley was…“Not only did Lesley plan a fantastic wedding but she also had the foresight to leave a good amount of time for us to play around and have lots of fun with the shoot. From the bride: Blake and I steered away from a lot of the typical wedding traditions so there was no best man, no cutting of the cake, no first dance and only one speech (and it was forced upon us, thanks Dad!). Blake and I wanted the night to be informal and feel like a great catch up with family and friends.

We had a lot of DIY elements to our wedding; making jam favours, framing wedding pictures of our ancestors and creating the menus, seating plans and table numbers (stamped on the back of my favourite book, Pride and Prejudice). I had such fun picking which sections of the Jane Austin classic to have on show, and saved the best, Mr Darcy’s proposal, for our table.
